Holly Burkett, PhD, SPHR is a Senior Organizational Development Consultant with University of California Davis. She has more than 20 years’ experience as a trusted business advisor helping diverse organizations improve the sustainable impact of strategic HRD initiatives focused upon culture change, leadership development, and performance improvement. An accomplished talent builder, Holly was recently honored with a 2017 Global Training & Development Leadership Award from the World HRD Congress in Mumbai, India. She is a monthly guest blogger for the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) and a select contributor to its landmark anthology, “The Rise of HR: Wisdom from 73 Thought Leaders” (2015), published in collaboration with HR luminaries David Ulrich and Libby Sartain. A certified ROI professional, she is a recognized evaluation expert with the Office of Performance Review, which provides grantee technical assistance. Publications include the award-winning book, “Learning for the Long Run” (2016) and the “Change Agents” chapter in ATD’s Talent Management Handbook (2015). Holly also serves as adjunct faculty for HRD Graduate Studies at Drexel University and is a sought-after conference presenter. She earned her PhD in Human Capital Development and was recently recognized with a 2016-2017 Distinguished Alumni award.
