Marina Galatro has more than 20 years of HR experience and provides consultation, best practice guidance and strategic support to companies on a variety of topics such as: compensation, employment law compliance, HR management, leave of absence, paid time off, performance management, policy and procedure development, total rewards, and training and development. California leave laws are a particular specialty.
Prior to joining Willis Towers Watson in July 2012, Marina held a senior-level HR consulting and account management role with a professional employer organization (PEO) for six years and was a director of human resources in the sports and entertainment industry for 14 years.
Marina speaks on numerous HR topics at national conferences such as SHRM and WorldatWork, as well as regional events, local seminars and educational webcasts. She is a featured writer for the client publication HR Focus and contributes regularly to Willis Towers Watson Wire. Marina’s blog exploring compliance and discrimination issues related to transgendered employees was one of the company’s most viewed posts in 2016.
